  Their signature is the waterfront playground, proper size pool, lovely outdoor jacuzzi and big rooms. We had a washing machine, dryer and microwave which were very handy. The areas in need of improvement I’d say are cleaning on request (apparently they clean once a week if you stay in a room) and installing a fan for the toilet.

  This property is at a great location with fabulous water view, proximity to kids play area, Coles and cafes. It's got a nice pool and a spa, However, it could be good if there was some kind of assistance from the front desk or otherwise may be - on call assistance. We did not have the air con remote, had to wonder how do we call in for toilet paper refills, or for any assistance in general as the reception mostly had no one most of the times. The rooms are dated but clean and airy

  This was a pleasant hotel. We stayed as a couple. It has all the amenities you could ask for. Very comfortable, great service & amazing views. This hotel is very family friendly and I will definitely travel back and stay here with my 3 young children.
  If you have kids don't hesitate to book a room here because you will all love it.

  Had a really pleasant stay at the oaks. The position is perfect as it’s right on the promenade and walking distance to the beach, the river and the restaurants. Rooms were clean and spacious, ours had a kitchenette with a cooktop and washing facilities.
  Staff were friendly and despite being overrun with people during the peak holiday season were very helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for an affordable place to stay

  Staff at reception were friendly
  Pool was mostly enjoyable, they should definitely start up the pool bar again though
  Room had good amenities, bath tub, kitchenette, washer & dryer. There was an air conditioner too however ours didn’t work and it is located in maybe the stupidest spot of a room I’m ever seen.
  The location was good, a lot to look at and do at walking distance and some great restaurants nearby
